I wasn't kidding about the red fuzzy wallpaper under the wood panelling....
Are there any design disasters that you've seen in your own home? Done by either yourself or the previous owners? (it's okay... you can say, "My friend did such-and-such"...). I've had a pretty short design life (I'm only 23!) and I have a pretty creative mom, so most of my rooms have been stinkin awesome. Although I do seem to recall yellow gingham and sunbonnet sue pictures... hm... wishing I had a picture of that right now.
What are your "Design Don'ts"! I love this dirt!

The guest room was neon blue and the office was neon glow in the dark orange and pink. It took two coats of primer to cover each room. Yeesh. During the house hunt we saw a house with a bathroom that had rainbow wallpaper and a pink shell shaped sink. The whole house was carpeted in Ronald McDonald red swag carpet!!!

WOW... that's like a technicolor nightmare!
When I moved into my 1st place (as mentioned in the post above) the previous tenant kindly left some 'decor'. Big yellow signs with huge rats on them that said "Rat Poison" Awesome right? Every gals dream!
Oh no! Well, at least they just left the signs and not actual rat poison...
